Teen Combined
Classroom and Driving

Combined 30-hour Classroom instruction at a rate of $10.00 per hour and 6-hour Behind-the-Wheel private driving instruction at a rate of $49.1667 per hour for a total of $595.00. (14 ½ to less than 18 years of age) This is the Driver Education course required by North Carolina law that students in this age group must complete to be able to test for their Teen Level 1 Limited Learner Permit. Students can save money by choosing this package, or they can take the classroom and behind-the-wheel portions separately.

Teen Classroom Only

Classroom instruction ONLY for 30 hours at a rate of $14.1667 per hour for a total of $425.00 for students who want to keep their driving options open. (14 ½ years of age and older for the Teen Classroom Session).

Adult Classroom Only

Adults may opt to test for their Learner’s Permit at an NC DMV License office after studying the North Carolina Driver’s Handbook, which is available online.
We must have at least 10 students to offer a 30-hour Adult Classroom Session.

Driving Only

Behind-the-Wheel private driving instruction ONLY for 6 hours at a rate of $70.8333 per hour for a total of $425.00. (Note: Your Turn Driving School, LLC must obtain certification that a student 14 ½ to less than 18 years of age has successfully completed the 30-hour classroom instruction at an approved school. Students 18 years of age and older must obtain their NC Learner’s Permits before they can be scheduled for Behind-the-Wheel instruction.)

Driving for Improvement

Driving for Improvement is a Behind-the-Wheel private course for 6 hours at a rate of $70.8333 per hour for a total of $425.00 to improve driving skills.
(Note: Student must have a valid NC Driver’s License. This is NOT a driver improvement course to reduce points for moving violations and does NOT provide a certificate for court cases.)

Additional Driving

Additional private driving instruction for a minimum of 2 hours at a rate of $75.00 per hour for a total of $150.00 per 2-hour session
for a current student or for a previous student of Your Turn Driving School, LLC with a valid NC Permit or License. Students can request multiple sessions through the office.
